Experience the Essentials of Tanzania in 7 days: an authentic journey blending majestic nature, meaningful human encounters, and immersive activities, all while staying at A&L Homestay, your cozy retreat in the heart of Arusha.
- Day 1 – Arusha: Local Life & First Immersion
Explore Arusha through its neighborhoods, landscapes, and vibrant atmosphere. Visit the homestay, meet local residents, and enjoy an easy walk around the area for an authentic first immersion.
Overnight: A&L homestay
- Day 2 – Tarangire : Panorama & Wildlife
A full day dedicated to the famous Tarangire National Park, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, majestic baobabs, and elephant herds.
Enjoy an incredible view of the savannah and be amazed by the wildlife moving around you.
Overnight: Panorama Safari Camp
- Day 3 –Ngorongoro: Crater & Preserved Nature
Depart at sunrise to explore one of the world’s most beautiful natural sanctuaries: the Ngorongoro Crater.
Its grasslands, forests, and wetlands are home to buffaloes, lions, zebras, hyenas, flamingos, and, with a bit of luck, the rare black rhinoceros. A magnificent day at the heart of a natural amphitheater.

- Day 4 – Orphanage & Village Tour: Meeting & Sharing
Visit an orphanage to share smiles, games, and meaningful interactions.
Then explore a traditional village to discover local life, crafts, homes, and Tanzanian traditions.

- Day 5 – Materuni & Chemka: Waterfall & Turquoise Oasis
Morning hike to the stunning Materuni Waterfall, surrounded by coffee plantations and tropical vegetation.
Traditional coffee preparation demonstration.
In the afternoon, head to the Chemka Hot Springs: turquoise waters, a relaxing atmosphere, and swimming in a paradisiacal setting.

- Day 6 – Bike Tour & Lake Duluti: Nature & Gentle Adventure
Bike ride through villages, plantations, and lush pathways.
Then discover Lake Duluti, a peaceful crater lake surrounded by dense forest: a perfect spot for birdwatching, contemplation, and connecting with nature.
Overnight: A&L homestay
- Day 7 – Departure: Final Tanzanian Moments
Free morning for last-minute shopping, farewells at the homestay, and to soak in the atmosphere of Arusha one last time.
Then transfer to the airport, your heart full of intense, human, and natural memories.
